Data tracking tools
Treat the Pain has developed a set of tools that can be used to guide implementation and document the impact of the program. We have developed a brief user guide that describes the use of the tools.
- The Clinician Pain Knowledge and Attitude Assessment is used to measure improvements in clinician knowledge and attitudes and is administered as a pre and post-test.
- The Pain Score Assessment is used to measure average pain scores among inpatients and to document reductions in average pain scores.
- The Opioid Consumption Tool is used to measure the monthly opioid consumption in a hosptial and to document increases in pain relief provision within a hospital.
